7.22.24 Visited PRIME steakhouse in Las Vegas, service was great, wonderful view (@ Bellagio fountain) and ambiance.
Updated review : I had the opportunity to revisit this establishment with the help of Sonia (the assistant manager). I will say this visit was definitely a world of a difference for the better! She was super help and understanding with setting up a new reservation within the week. Reservations start at 5 pm onwards no earlier. I noticed the later you go the more busier it gets. Most people seem to sit inside since there's a minimum price requirement to sit outside on the patio. We were fortunate enough to be seated outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the Bellagio water show. It's such a close and unique view to the normal front on view that most people get. The menu is pretty straight forward and fairly small. Their emphasis is definitely on their steaks. To start I loved the cheese and pretzel bread in their bread basket and the salted butter was a perfect touch. We got the rundown on the different cuts of meats from our server and we asked what was recommend or the most popular. We went with the rib cap and the porterhouse for 2. They were pretty small but it's 100% about the quality here. The steaks come with some Shishito peppers but there's really no sides to it, so I'd recommend getting some starters or sides with it. You are gonna be paying a lot more than the average place, but you are getting the ambiance and quality here. Service is top notch and classy. Perfect place for a special occasion or a date night. Highly recommend to check out this place and treat yourself to some delicious steaks.
Updated stars. Should have been 5 stars. Food and drinks and ambience was fabulous. We still talk about how wonderful it was
This is such an old school glamorous steakhouse. You'll feel like you've been transported back in time. Except for the prices LOL. Love the complimentary bread. We actually didn't get steak, we got short ribs, salmon and sea bass. All delicious! And of course baked Alaska for dessert. Great special occasion restaurant.
Prime is one of the best places in Vegas to get good food. The steaks are tender and full of flavor the desert is delicious drinks are refreshing & the staff here has great customer service great views of the water fountain if your in Vegas you should definitely check this place out..
Fantastic dining experience - one of the best steakhouses in Vegas! I've dined at a number of high end steakhouses in Las Vegas, and Prime is certainly one of the top. The service was fantastic - both friendly and super attentive. The atmosphere was great - the inside is elegant and the patio has wonderful views. Being located in Bellagio, it's fairly easy to get to from any area of the strip. The food is also among the best in Vegas - it's hard to get a better ribeye, but the sides, appetizers and desserts are all very good as well.
Well, I can only say that the balcony dining experience is excellent IF the weather is perfect and you don't a draft if sitting near the double doors that are constantly opening and closing. OF COURSE, the view and music of the fountains are grandiose. No questions about it. If this is your vision to be had, please come here to sit and dine for an hour or so. It's bit louder and noisier than inside the dining room. But honestly having walked thru the main dining room a few times to reach the restrooms, it's a bit stuffy. It has an excellent vibe of comfort and high end. Attention to detail is everywhere from the ambiance to the staff professionalism. But this is not unique to PRIME. What is unique is the balcony dining experience. Food is great. Truffled anything is on my list to try. I had the rib cap and was a little surprised how it turned out compared to when I prepare it myself at home. It was perhaps too well done? Cut differently? Not sure. But certainly was different than my expectation. But as with all steak houses, it's hard to impress me anymore because after experiencing so many, what everyone is serving is the same. Beef in all its glory of cuts, "done-ness," and sauces is relatively finite. At least conservatively so. And the sides are variations on what you know...save "truffled" anything...keke. So come hungry. Come with a thick wallet. And prepare for a meal with some stories to tell your children... PS - they do have some awesome looking crab legs that I mouth-watered over but never got to try....we'll save that for the next review...
Came here 05/25/2024. I recently had a fantastic meal at Prime Steakhouse in Bellagio. This was around 8 PM as a walk in party of 1. They usually put party of 1 at the bar, but because I have Noir status I was able to sit at a table. Unfortunately as I did not have a reservation, I was unable to get a good view of the fountains or outdoor seating. Make sure you make a reservation in advance. I put recent pictures of the menu up. I had the petite seafood tower, dry-aged ribeye, and loaded baked potato. Everything was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the oysters and lobster in the seafood tower, I highly recommend those. The service was attentive and nice and the ambiance cannot be beat. I cannot recommend the outdoor seating enough. Overall will return.
Such an amazing experience tonight at Prime. We arrived for our 8pm reservation, and was seated closer to 8:30, since the restaurant was so busy. We were then brought menus and water to start. Our server Russ, was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't get the busser/runners name but they played a significant part in the outstanding service we had. Tonight was my birthday, so we really went all out. Starting with the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp that was garnished with a Passionfruit Mustard. Absolutely delicious. A nice kick with the mustard, but great nonetheless. Our server explained to us how everything is made fresh to order, so we were free to adjust anything to our liking. We each got a salad and share the French Onion Soup. Salads were dressed to perfection and the soup was hot and fresh. For entrees we got the Filet and the Peppercorn Crusted New York Strip. Both were cooked perfectly. We also got a side of the Crispy Potatoes and the Mac and Cheese. The potatoes were my favorite. Super crispy, and they came with a flavorful sauce to compliment them. The Mac and Cheese was super decadent and rich. At the end, our server brought out a sweet birthday dessert that consisted of 2 Tiramisu Macaroons. We learned that the Macaroon flavors are changed daily, which is amazing. Tonight was absolutely amazing. The service was truly memorable, as well as the food. Definitely a great place to visit.
